With 4,888 units now available across 17 counties, these homes are designed to cater to different income groups, from low-income earners to middle-class and higher-income Kenyans.

Whether you’re looking for a studio unit or a three-bedroom home, the prices and financing options are tailored to suit your budget and needs.

Where the Units Are Available

The newly completed units are spread across the country, with Kiambu County leading with 1,027 units.

Other counties with significant numbers include Nakuru (440 units), Nyandarua (326 units), and Machakos (294 units).

Smaller allocations are available in counties such as Kirinyaga and Migori.

Pricing for Housing Categories

  1. Social Housing Units (For low-income earners, < Ksh. 20,000/month)
        • Studio Units (20 sqm): Ksh. 640,000 (Monthly repayment: Ksh. 3,900)
        • 1-Bedroom Units (30 sqm): Ksh. 960,000 (Monthly repayment: Ksh. 5,350)
        • 2-Bedroom Units (40 sqm): Ksh. 1,280,000 (Monthly repayment: Ksh. 6,800)

       

  2. Affordable Housing Units (For middle-income earners, Ksh. 20,000–149,000/month)
    • Studio Units:
      • 20 sqm: Ksh. 1,000,000 (Repayment: Ksh. 7,250/month)
      • 28 sqm: Ksh. 1,400,000 (Repayment: Ksh. 10,119/month)
    • 1-Bedroom Units:
      • 30 sqm: Ksh. 1,500,000 (Repayment: Ksh. 10,850/month)
      • 43 sqm: Ksh. 2,150,000 (Repayment: Ksh. 15,539/month)
    • 2-Bedroom Units:
      • 40 sqm: Ksh. 2,000,000 (Repayment: Ksh. 14,450/month)

Kenyans interested in these units can submit applications through the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.
